Day 1 Arrive Delhi

Traditional welcome - Atithi Devo Bhava (Guest is god) by garlanding on arrival at Delhi international airport by our India executive. Transferred in your exclusive air-conditioned car to your hotel.

Day 2 Delhi - Ranthambore (by train)

Breakfast,day free to enjoy the sights of Delhi or wander in the foot market 'bazaar' until noon. Assisted & transferred to railway station to board the express train for a day journey to arrive in Sawai Madhopur railway station at 1800 hrs. Met on arrival by Travel Pals India executive and transferred to your jungle resort for overnight stay in Ranthambore National Park.

Day 3 In Ranthambhore

Morning & afternoon safari in the Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambhore National Park is 392 sq km. You will see abundant spotted deers, Sambar deer, blue antelope (nilgai), Chinkara Antelope (or Indian Gazelle), monkeys, langoors, wild boars, variety of bird species such as Flocks of Peafowl, while on the lakes Cotton Pygmy Geese and both Bronze-winged and Pheasant-tailed Jacanas are common. The surrounding woodland and grasslands hold such species as Black-rumped Flameback Woodpecker, Tickell's Blue Flycatcher, Rufous-tailed Finch Lark (an Indian endemic), Painted Spurfowl, Jungle Bush Quail, Small Minivet and Stork-billed Kingfisher. There is a possibility of seeing up to five species of owl, including Brown Fish Owl, Dusky Eagle Owl and Collared Scops Owl. Also visit the spectacular ruins of Ranthambore Fort.

Day 4 In Ranthambhore

Morning & Evening jungle safari.

Day 5 Ranthambhore - Bandhavgarh (overnight train)

AM jungle safari to the Ranthambhore National Park. Evening, assisted & transferred to Sawai Madhopur railway station to board your overnight train (first class sleeper berths) for Bandhavgarh National Park.

Day 6 Bandhavgarh National Park

Arrive at the nearest railhead (Katni) in the morning & transferred to your jungle resort in Bandhavgarh. The density of the tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India. This is also known as the "white tiger country". These have been found in the old state of Rewa for many years. After lunch, you will have the first jungle safari in to the Bandhavgarh National Park.

Day 7 In Bandhavgarh

Take an early morning jungle safari. After breakfast day for leisure until the evening safari to get a chance to view and enjoy more than 22 species of mammals and 250 species of birds.

Day 8 In Bandhavgarh

Morning & Evening Jungle safari to the Bandhavgarh National Park in different zones of the park.

Day 9 Bandhavgarh - Kanha (260kms / 6hrs)

After breakfast, driven to Kanha. The lush sal (Shorea robusta) and bamboo (Dendrocalamus strictus) forests, grassy meadows and ravines of Kanha provided inspiration to Rudyard Kipling for his famous novel "Jungle Book". Kanha stretches over an area of 940 sq km in the two districts Mandla and Balaghat. Together with a surrounding buffer zone of 1,009 sq km and the neighboring 110 sq km Phen Sanctuary it forms the Kanha Tiger Reserve. The park has a significant population of Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, the sloth bear, Barasingha and Indian wild dog.

Day 10 In Kanha

Day 12 Kanha - Pench (150 KM - 3 hrs)

This Morning driven to Pench National Park. Pench National Park is situated in Seoni and Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh in India. The area of the National park is 293 sq.km

Day 13 In Pench

Morning & Evening Jungle Safaris.

Tiger - The main cat species of the park present in good numbers but sighted infrequently. Commonly seen wildlife is chital, sambhar, nilgai, wild boar, and jackal. Other wild animals found are leopard, sloth bear, wild dog, porcupine, jungle cat, fox, striped hyena, gaur, chowsingha and barking deer. There are more than 170 species of birds including several migratory ones. Some of them are peafowl, junglefowl, crow pheasant, crimson-breasted barbet, red-vented bulbul, racket-tailed drongo, magpie robin, lesser whistling teal, pintail, shoveler, egret and herons. The Pench national park has a count of 8 tigers (as in 1998) and 7 panthers (as in 1998).This national park is rich with chitals i.e. axis or more commonly spotted deer.

Day 14 Pench - Nagpur - Bangalore

After breakfast, transferred to Nagpur airport (250 kms/6 hrs) to board flight for Bangalore. On arrival met by Travel Pals India executive and transferred to hotel for check in & overnight.

Day 15 Bangalore - Mysore - Bandipur ( 225kms / 4.5hrs )

This morning, drive to Bandipur via guided sightseeing of Srirangapatnam & Mysore. Srirangapatnam takes its name from the celebrated Ranganathaswamy temple which dominates the town, making Srirangapatnam one of the most important Vaishnavite centers of pilgrimage in south India. It remained part of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1610 to after India's independence in 1947; as the fortress closest to the capital city of Mysore, it was the last bastion and defence of the kingdom in case of invasion. It houses Jumma Masjid (a Mosque) and the Daria Daulat Garden. Mysore was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore was ruled by the Wodeyars dynasty, except for a 40-year period in the 18th century when Haidar Ali and Tipu Sultan were the de facto rulers. The Wodeyars were patrons of art and culture and have contributed significantly to the cultural growth of the city, which has led to Mysore earning the sobriquet Cultural capital of Karnataka. Visit The Maharaja's Palace (Mysore Palace) is one of the important sights in Mysore. Built in Indo-Saracenic style with domes, turrets, arches and colonnades, the Palace is a treasure house of exquisite carvings and works of art from all over the world. Intricately carved doors open on to luxuriously furnished rooms. The majestic Durbar Hall has an ornate ceiling and many sculpted pillars. The magnificent jewel studded golden throne of the Wodeyars is displayed here during the Dasera festival. Illuminated on Sundays and public holidays, the palace presents a spectacle of breathtaking beauty. Arrive Bandipur National Park and check into the Jungle Lodge.

Day 16 In Bandipur

Bandipur National Park is one of India's best known protected areas and is an important Project Tiger reserve. It is located in the Chamarajanagar district of southern Karnataka in South India. The park stretches over 874 km2 (337 sq mi), protecting the wildlife of Karnataka. Together with the adjoining Nagarhole National Park (643 km2 (248 sq mi)), Mudumalai National Park (320 km2 (120 sq mi)) and Wynad Wildlife Sanctuary (344 km2 (133 sq mi)), it forms the largest protected area in Southern India, totalling 2,183 km2 (843 sq mi). It is notable as the home to around seventy Bengal tigers and over three thousand Indian elephants (in 1997) Bandipur is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Bandipur National Park is under consideration by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee for selection as a World Heritage Site. Enjoy morning and afternoon elephant safari into the park.

Day 17 In Bandipur

Morning & Evening Jungle safari on elephant back.

Day 18 Bandipur - Bangalore ( 225kms / 4.5hrs )

Enjoy the early morning safari. Return to your lodge for breakfast. Later driven to Bangalore. Depending on your international flight schedule, check-in at the international terminal or stay overnight in Bangalore (optional)
